Japadog

Last Friday, I met up with a good friend from the ballroom dance team I was on in college and a few other good friends and ventured down to St. Mark's Place. For dinner we went to Japadog, some Japanese American hybrid where they infuse Japanese favors and ingredients onto a hot dog. It wasn't expensive, on average one hot dog could cost between $2.50 to $4.50, and there were a lot of interesting favors to choose from. I got a Tonkatsu because it was the least spiciest option. We went to The Thirsty Scholar afterwards (with a quick detour to Pinkberry) and grabbed a few beers (my first drink was a frozen margarita - how do you say no to a $5 happy hour special? That's right, you don't.)
