I’ve never not liked Valentine’s Day, though I do believe
that it is a strictly painful commercial holiday. Why designate one day a year
to show someone you care about them – it should be a daily occurrence. Though
this is my first year celebrating it with a special someone, we really wanted
to keep things on the simpler side and decided to cook dinner together on Friday
night, and go out to a dinner on Sunday night. I’m such a fan of homemade gifts
over overpriced store bought ones as I think the effort put into creating
something is more significant than the amount paid so I’m really looking
forward to creating dinner together.
