I first saw wedge sneakers a few years ago, maybe like 2010, on a blog that was a favorite of mine at the time. My first thought seeing them was pretty much along the lines of disgust. Not only did I think they were hideous, but why mess with a good thing? Sneakers are comfortable and there should be no reason to add a heel to them. I just didn't comprehend. Fast forward four years and the ever fickle me is coveting a pair. I guess when you see so many fabulous women on the streets rocking them, you decide that if you can't beat 'em, might as well join 'em.
