I'm completely sold on the idea of having a wedding on a Friday. At first, I was bummed because I had to miss the church ceremony (and I maybe get a bit choked up when the doors open and the bride comes down the aisle), but knowing that the next day was a SATURDAY and not a SUNDAY was baller. The wedding we went to this past Friday was amazing. The cocktail hour was expansive and had so many different food options and it took place in the cutest outside garden. There was a lot of dancing, multiple courses, a *fondue fountain* - be still my beating heart - and the venue was beautiful. I also had a fab date who let me drag him around during an Italian waltz.
